Which has more value Vedas or puranas?

In one word vedas are bigger in value than puranas. Wait, just read why?

At very ancient times, people were very spiritual and they read the vedas and other texts very well. They are fluent in sanskrit and can read or understand very fastly. It was the time of ‘Truth’ Age the SATYUG. But as the agriculture expands and people began to look on new economical and security opportunities they ignored the upanishads and vedas somehow. Due to this, the rishis were too anxious that the golden knowledge is going on threaten.. It was the time of dwapur or tretayug. Invasions was one of the major reasons why we lost sanskrit because many few languages are mixed in the culture. People cannot able to understand the vedas anymore as the slokas and mantras say something very hard and specific. It needs a great amount of imagination and concentration. And after that, rishis wrote puranas which contain a large amount of stories. The main aim to write puranas was to expand the knowledge of vedas in a storical way that a normal person can understand better by just imagination. Vedas has two components – Karmakand and Gyaankaand. The puranas are written mostly on the topics of Karmakand like to make a devtha happy so that it gives you physical wealth and gifts. Which is now seems to be illogical and un-scientific. The golden knowledge of vedas lies in upanishads and वेदांत, the essence of vedas. So the vedas are more valuable.
